More foods that are great for your skin

I have previously written about some foods that can are great for your skin in this post.

Lets take a look as some more of the common foods that can be used to naturally beautify you.

Berries: Berries are delicious fruits that are full of nourishing goodness. But they are also great beauty products. From strawberries to acai berries berries are really nature’s beautifier.

Strawberry: Strawberries can be used as a tooth whitener, rub mashed strawberries over your teeth with a toothbrush, leave in for 5 minutes then rinse. This would remove plaque and stains.

Acai berries: These berries are full of vitamin C, which brightens skin. After a late night out with the girls apply mashed up acai berries on your skin, leave in for 10 minutes and rinse off. It would brighten up tired eyes and dull skin. Acai berries are also said to have anti-aging properties so consume them raw or in shakes to reverse the effects of time.

Coconut Oil: Coconut Oil has been praised as an all round cure for everything. It can be used as both a skin moisturizer and hair conditioner. To use coconut oil as a skin moisturizer apply some coconut oil on your skin and massage it in, your skin would immediately feel softer. To use coconut oil as a hair conditioner, apply coconut oil to clean hair. It helps smooth frizz and add shine.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is used to treat everything from acne to an upset stomach so am not surprised that it can also be used as a toner. To use Apple cider vinegar mix equal parts Apple cider vinegar with water and swipe over your face with a cotton ball after you washing your face.

Baking Soda: Baking Soda can be used in numerous ways including tooth whitener and hair cleanser. To use baking soda as a tooth whitener, use a moistened toothbrush to scoop up some baking soda and use it to brush your teeth. To use baking soda as a hair cleanser, add baking soda to your shampoo before you was your hair. Mixing baking soda and washing your hair would also help cure dandruff.

These are a few of the common breakfast foods that are also great for your skin. While they nourish you from the inside they also make you look beautiful on the outside.
