Soursop also known as graviola and custard apple, it is a fruit in the same family as the pawpaw
The flavor is similar to a combination of strawberry and pineapple.
The flesh is a white pulp and it had a core of indigestible, black seeds.
The fruit can be eaten raw and is also used to make smoothies, fruit juice drinks, candies, sorbets, desserts and ice creams.
The leaves of the plant is also used in season meat.
Soursop contains the following nutrients carbohydrates, sugars, dietary fiber, fat and protein.
It also contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and C.
Trace minerals include calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc.
Often touted, as a cure for cancer there is no scientific proof that this fruit cures cancer.
