What is the Longan fruit

 

The Longan fruit is a member of the soapberry family, to which the lychee also belongs.

The fruit contains the following nutrients carbohydrates, sugars, dietary fiber, fat and protein.

It also contains vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C.

Trace minerals include calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc.
